The day began with the bridal party preparations, full of excitement and anticipation. Patrick and his groomsmen started their morning with fun touches (including customised socks!), while Vanessa and her bridesmaids shared quiet, emotional moments getting ready.

At Vanessa’s family home, the first tea ceremony began with playful door games, followed by the couple paying their respects to elders and receiving heartfelt blessings. Later, at Patrick’s home, another tea ceremony continued the tradition, symbolising unity and respect between the two families.

After the tea ceremonies, Vanessa and Patrick changed into their western outfits, exchanging thoughtful gifts before making their way to the gardens for the ceremony.
